About Skip Shot Disc Sports

Hello, my name is Ethan and I am the founder and owner of Skip Shot Disc Sports. My disc golf journey started in 2018 when I got a beginner 3-pack of discs. From the first time I threw them, I fell in love with the sport. I then found many courses in my hometown of Medicine Hat and convinced my family to try throwing some plastic with me. I soon became enveloped in the wonderful community surrounding the sport and met some fantastic people.

I started Skip Shot because I feel that everyone, especially beginners, needs someone who understands disc golf to help them choose the right disc. I have seen far too many people buy discs that are too fast or overstable to throw properly and become doubtful of their skills, even though they haven't done anything wrong. My mission is to help you discover the discs that will improve your game and make disc golf extra fun.
